WHAT DO WE DO AS A FRIENDSHIP FORCE “CLUB”
THE “JOURNEY”
Journeys are domestic and international travel explorations. FFWM members will visit other clubs once or twice a year. These are “outbound” journeys. Our club travels together or, individual members may apply to travel with other clubs on their outbound journeys.
When members from another club visit FFWM it is called an “inbound” journey. We will host our guests in our homes and treat them to dinner in the homes of other members. We will share with our guests’ places, sights and activities that are unique to our area such as the Saugatuck Dune Ride, the Meijer Gardens and the Ford Presidential Museum.
When our club is not traveling or hosting, we have get-togethers and social outings. We have membership meetings, usually combined with a social activity like our holiday party.
Leadership opportunities include serving on our board of directors (2 year terms), as a committee chair or member, and as a journey coordinator.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
World Conferences: Every other year there is a World Conference sponsored by Friendship Force International. It is open to all club members.
In the off year FFI sponsors a festival.
Regional Conferences: Every other year there is a regional conference. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
